Aaron graduated from Grand Valley State University with a B.S. in Chemistry. He matriculated to the Cancer Biology Graduate Program in 2013 and was awarded a Rackham Merit Fellowship. He is currently a member of the laboratory of Dr. David Sherman.
Aaron's research projects include the bioengineering of known biosynthetic pathways for the production of novel natural products of medicinal value, and the discovery of new biologically active natural products through screening samples collected from all over the world and deposited in the Center for Chemical Genomics here at the university.
