I graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2017 with a double major in Biology & Biotechnology and Biochemistry. I joined the Cancer Biology program at the University of Michigan in 2017, and I am now working towards my Ph.D. in Ryoma “Puck” Ohi’s lab. Outside of lab, I enjoy running, traveling, and decorating cupcakes!
My research interests center around drug development and small molecule inhibitors as anticancer therapies. In the Ohi lab, I am studying the role of a mitotic kinesin, Kif15, in bipolar spindle formation during mitosis, and am working to develop a novel inhibitor of Kif15 as a potential chemotherapeutic agent.
